- 1985 - Fifth Place Award for yearly front-page photos in the Sheboygan Press daily newspaper.
- 1986 - Second Place Award for Black & White Prints in the Wisconsin Regional Writers' Association's Photo Contest.
- 1986 - Third Place Award for Color Slides in the Wisconsin Regional Writers' Association's Photo Contest.
- 1987 - Third Place Award for Essay Writing in the Wisconsin Regional Writers' Association's Jade Ring Contest.
- 1988 - Proclamation from the Mayor of Sheboygan for contribution to Sheboygan County's history with "Sheboygan County: 150 Years of Progress" book.
- 1989 - Second Place Award for Humor Writing in the Wisconsin Regional Writers' Association's Jade Ring Contest.
- 1992 - Fourth Place Award for Humor Writing in the Wisconsin Regional Writers' Association's Jade Ring Contest.
